VDownloader

VDownloader

Vdownloader is a program designed to download video material from popular sites, such as the YouTube, Google Video, DailyMotion and many other. Owing to saving the clips on a hard drive one may watch them without Internet access and copy them, after conversion, to an e.g. MP4 player or a cellphone. Additionally, the tool offers a few other functions which combined with a friendly English interface make it worthy of interest ? especially that the Vdownloader is freeware.

The application suggests an additional installation of the Speed Up Computer program and an

add-on to the Internet browser: the Ask toolbar, during first installation. After launching, the VDownloader icon is visible in the system tray. The program may work in the background, i.e. monitor the system locker and when a link appears in it, e.g. a YouTube link, a dialog box pops up, informing about a download possibility. The application offers logging into the mentioned video website, including MegaVideo and Facebook ? in the latter case the integration is based on posting information about the downloaded clips on one?s wall, all it takes is to tick an adequate option.

Video content in some sites can be found via browser built into the program ? we need not copy links from the WWW browser or other sources manually, the VDownloader alone is enough. Browsing results can be viewed first and then downloaded. The program also has a simple Internet browser ? writing an address or choosing from a list of a few dozen video sites will suffice.
